Active Imagination
(40 pages, 4" x 5.5") Just out of an abusive relationship, Morgan
feels that no one else will ever desire her again. She comes home to visit her mom for
spring break, which is complicated by not having come out as trans yet. With no one to
talk to, frustration and boredom take over.
She escapes to her own fantasies where she imagines people having sex all around
her and a community full of support and people who are trans-aware.
Since everyone asks me why we skipped issues 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, I'll just answer
here. Morgan's story line deals with an abusive relationship and recovery. As an abuse
survivor myself, I felt I needed to write about the recovery (issue 10) before I wrote
about the the abuse itself (issue 6). |
