After creating written porn for years, we've begun expanding into artistic erotic imagery. A series of black and white photos within a full color cover. Other than the title, no text appears in these zines, but they still tell a story. | ||||||

 The first series is written by Tobi Hill-Meyer. It takes place around the turn of the millennium and follows a community of transgender women and their lovers. This series was specifically crafted to address issues of trans-misogyny in queer communities. In addition to showing a wide diversity of ways in which people represent their genders, the series also deals with other issues ranging from abuse to sex-negative community norms to cultural appropriation. As this series is occasionally used as an educational tool (I'm quite proud that someone once told me that they learned more from my erotica than from a trans 101), it also comes with an FAQ. A hard copy of the FAQ is free with the purchase of any Series 1 zine. But you'll have to specifically request it in the comments section of the purchase, as I'd rather not give away copies to people who already have them. | ||||||

 Love and Fire The second series of Pocket Porn, written by Faye Onyx, is set in a fantasy world. These stories follow the long-term relationships of multiple different non-human characters, including a shape shifter, several nature guardians, and a vampire. Both highly erotic and romantic, these stories explore the complicated dynamics of desire, love, polyamory, gender exploration, sexual orientation, kink, and multiracial pairings within these relationships. We watch the characters playing and having fun as well as supporting each other with difficult issues and conflicts. Different issues have different focuses. This series has color covers and each issue is significantly longer than those of series one. Because of this, each series two issue costs a bit more. | ||||||

Guest Series There are currently no guest authors published by Handbasket Productions. However, there's at least one interested writer. With all the other projects for Handbasket coming up, it may be some time before we start filling up this section, but who knows? |
